( w i l d , h o r s e s , I , w a n n a , b e , l i k e , y o u )THROWING CAUTION TO THE WIND, I'LL RUN FREE TOO The Deer's blood tasted good in her mouth. Violet absentmindedly chewed on the bone of the deer that she had killed, lost in thought. Her green eyes shown in the dark, and her red fur blended into the shubbery around her. Tomorrow was the full moon.
When the full moon was about to happen, Violet would leave her home, the small town. She would go to the middle of no where, and try to distance herself from humanity. It's not like she cared about the humans, or their safety. She just wanted to be far away from the hunters, and the city.
The crunching leaves brought Violet's attention back to her. She growled, standing up to protect her hunt. Her hackles rose, and she prepared to defend herself if another monster were to come.

Walking absent-mindedly through a patch of dead tulips, Rayne was reminded how much she loved Winter. The freshly fallen snow made everything glisten as though it were covered in diamonds, despite the cloud cover. She sighed, truly amazed by the nature around her. It was moments like this, moments of true, natural beauty that she was proud to be a Witch. Her religion worshiped such natural beauty in a regard higher than that of the Christian love for their G-d.
As a snowflake fell on her dark, dyed hair, she felt a smile almost creep across her face, but when her eyes fell upon a Lycan devouring a kill, she grimaced. There were few things in this life she hated more than Lycans and Vampires.
Turning quickly on her heel, Rayne pivoted to leave the beast alone, disgusted by its bloody show. However, her turn startled the beast, cracking frozen grass beneath her bare-feet. The ice and the snow burned her soles, but she didn't care. It was beauty that caused her pain. Pain she deserved anyway.
The beast snarled at her, and Rayne snarled back. As a Witch, basically a human, her snarl was nowhere near as menacing as the Lycan's. However, she needed to show the beast she had no fear of it. Only disgust.
Wind blew her hair around her face, caressing her harsh cheekbones, gaunt from under-eating and malnourishment. "Calm yourself beast. I mean you no harm." She stood firm, unwavering, her stare cold as the snow surrounding them. ----------------------------------------------------------

The person snarled back, which mildly surprised Violet. This person was either a very stupid human, or a witch. Violet gazed at her, pondering whether she would attack or not. "Calm yourself Beast. I mean you no harm." The person said firmly, staring coldly at her. Violet, who had trouble staying calm in normal circumstances, growled again, her eyes momentarily changing to black. She shook her head quickly. The Full moon was closer then she thought. Staggering over to the shrub, she laid down, fighting the madness that was the moon. She felt herself shrink into her human form, the only way to stop herself from going mad. She immediately felt the cold against her back. Sighing, Violet threw on the sweats she had brought with her. Getting up, she walked back behind the bush, where the witch still was. Violet almost growled again, but contained herself. She wiped the remaining blood from her mouth. "You should know better." She growled, crossing her arms. "The Full Moon is tomorrow, and I don't want your coven coming after me for killing you." She spat, feeling her temperature rise again. It was hard to stay human this close to the moon. Her blonde hair softly blew in the breeze, and her green eyes watched the girl coldly. [/size]

Rayne felt herself smirk as the beast growled at her once more. She had no doubt in herself that she could defeat the beast with one simple spell. One simple spell was all it would take to win a possible attack. Which one would she use? One to paralyze the beast? One to create an invisible barrier? The choices were endless. Though, to be honest, while Rayne was indeed a very accomplished Witch, she often put too much merit in her abilities. She would never admit it to anyone, but Karma was a much stronger Witch than she.
The Lycan's eyes turned black as night. Rayne couldn't help but back up a few steps. A Lycan with black eyes was all animal, any resemblance to their human selves were lost. Rayne was brave and often stupid about whom she was challenge, but she knew better than to taunt a Lycan this unstable around the full moon. She relaxed her stance, showing the beast she meant no harm. Though, she crossed her arms over her chest, showing she was still not afraid. Wary, yes, afraid, not in the least.
The Lycan went behind a bush to change into its human form. Returning to her line of sight, Rayne saw she was a female, with strikingly intense green eyes. Her own hazel eyes met the female's green ones unwavering. She was much taller than she, though Rayne was used to this. She and her sisters were quite short in comparison to most people and beings.
Rayne grumbled. She should know better? She did. She knew very well tomorrow was the full moon. She was Wiccan. Her people worshipped the moon in all its glorious cycles. Certain spells only worked during certain moon cycles. "You stupid dog. I do know better. All I said was that you should calm your animalistic instincts. I am here to enjoy the park, same as you." Her nose wrinkled as she noticed the female before her wiped the blood from her face. " Well, not the same as you. Not exactly, anyway."

Violets eyes narrowed. She didn't exactly like being called 'Dog'. When the witch said the part about the park, Violet grinned, letting the witch see the blood stained on her teeth. She enjoyed making people uncomfortable, and this witch was no exception. "Well, Witch, It's better then drinking the blood of the filthy." She said, digging her bare foot in the ground to try to slow her heartbeat. She had no taste for Humans, and while she enjoyed killing them, she would never drink there blood.
Her blood was practically boiling, she had to roll up the sleeves on her filthy sweatshirt. She brushed her tangled hair out of the way. "Where is your 'coven' anyway? Out on a broomstick ride without you?" She said dryly, looking down at the girl. Like most Lycan, Violet had no knowledge of the rituals and the politics of the elder council and witches, and she had no intent on learning.

A silent laugh found its way into Rayne's body, making her chest rumble and a smile creep upon her lips. The dog's narrowed eyes were too hilarious for her to take. Clearly something she had said had angered her. She ran back through her words, searching for any offensive terms. The only obvious one was her use of the word dog. Grinning, teeth and all, she made a mental note to use the word as much as possible during their interaction here.
When the girl exposed her bloody teeth, Rayne couldn't help but cringe. She wasn't one to be easily disgusted by gore, however, she and her sisters were all vegetarians. The idea of eating meat, especially as brutally as Lycans do, was revolting. However, the girl's emphasis on the word Witch made an audible laugh escape from her lips. It was almost as though she was trying to insult her by calling her by her name.
Where was her coven? Why was it any of this dog's business? "Where is my Coven? I should ask the same of you, where is your pack? It's not often dogs stray so far from their alphas." She smirked. Yes, she knew better than to taunt a Lycan, but this one was currently in human form. They were much less dangerous this way, so naturally, mischievous little Rayne needed to have some fun.
